Spreading the word......

Got some good news today, Amy's story was published in a local paper. I'll post the link at the bottom of the post. The feedback throughout the community has been amazing. It's super cool to see all the support from family, friends, and people we don't even know yet. Some people even asked how they themselves can become an organ donor. Yes, it's not like we signed up a million people to become a donor, but think about how a little change can go such a long way. One organ donor can save up to 8 lives. So even if two people sign up to become a donor that's 16 lives that could potentially be saved or bettered due to someone's selfless decision. I encourage everyone to become a donor. What better to know that when you pass that you can potentially help keep 8 people alive or give them a better quality of life.

Back at the hospital front, Amy is still doing very well. The good news is that she had a few heart offers over the last week or so. So that tells us that she's likely towards the top of the list. It really could be any day now. Her doctors even get excited when they come in and see her and tell her to be ready at any moment. We're all very excited!!

Hug your loved ones, be thankful to come home to friends or family that loves you, sign up to be an organ donor, love the life you live and live the life you love. After all, you only get one life, make the best of it. That's all for now, thanks again to everybody for the love and support. We really couldn't do it without all of you. Cheers!
